We envisioned this piece as a way to show a man from the past looking into the future.    The hole in the centre of the disc was a great way to engage the viewers, who could then see the man’s face on the other side.

Winning the BC Championships at Vernon that year enabled us to make our big leap forward in Quebec City the following year.
